Gibson Les Paul Custom

 For auction is a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom electric guitar with the original case. Not much you can say about a guitar of this caliber that most of you don't already know. This is the guitar that every other company tries to copy but trust me nothing beats the real thing. This custom is all original and one of the best playing guitars I have ever laid my hands on. All gold hardware, cream binding, and those classic Gibson pearl block inlays. Check out the ebony fret board, any other wood for the fret board would be a sin. Keep in mind this one is 30 years old and shows all the best aspects of a nice aged guitar. Dont forget about the sound on a les paul this old, in my mind it is the gold standard of how a guitar should sound. I was testing out the electronics/playability going over some Gaslight Anthem tunes and the over all tone is huge. Just well sculpted low end and highs for leads that ring forever. Its in great condition with just some minor buckle rash and you can see one ding on the back of the neck. You can also see a small paint ship on the back of the head stock. The previous owner was a smoker so I have been airing it out to get it as mint as possible and its way better. The frets are in good shape and neck is straight.
