1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom w/OHSC

Welcome to another great No Reserve guitar auction from GREENGTRS. Press the play button on the video demo(s) so you can hear the guitar being played as you read about it and look at the pictures. The 1st video is with old strings (and it is a wound G string for what it is worth) and the 2nd video has a fresh set of regular D'Addario XL lights (10-46)...I also show inside the control and toggle switch cavities to save picture space here. I try to show off the range of sounds, point out all the features (and any flaws I can find) and anything else I think is pertinent (never any unpleasant surprises here). When you buy a guitar from me, you KNOW exactly what you are getting. Check my feedback and read what my customers have to say! I love my "job", am very picky about what I buy, and choose to sell only what I would enjoy playing myself. This is one cool, investment grade, collectible guitar that whether the market goes up or down, you will always be able to enjoy and play.

Here is a 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom for your consideration. This is the real deal and they made less than 500 of these in 1956 and less than 1000 altogether between 1954 when it was introduced and 1957 when they changed to humbucking pickups. It has been played so it is not perfect but it is in great condition for a guitar that is over 50 years old. From what I can tell, and I do not claim to be an expert on these old guitars, it appears to have had the frets changed out (from memory they are supposed to be very small hence the "fretless wonder" name, and these are wide) and it appears to have had a (very well done) headstock repair. This comes with the original California "Cal-Girl" Pink lined, 4 latch, flat top Hard Shell Case...sorry no key, but as you can see, the case is in great shape too! Well if a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is probably equal to a book, so I'll shut up now and let the pictures and video demo tell the story...if I forgot to mention anything that you think is important or if you have any questions, ask away! I take pride in the whole selling process...from choosing great guitars to sell, cleaning them up if needed, setting them up to play great, and packing them up great to arrive safely at your door. This is the real deal and if you buy it here you will actually get this guitar (unlike the fiasco that happened a few months ago to one very unlucky bidder to the tune of $21,900.00 who bought from an auction based on old pictures of this very guitar...I tried to tell eBay "security" there was a scam auction going on as one of my customers pointed it out when he saw the other listing, and the other party had someone buy this one to remove the listing from eBay and then of course never pay
for it...surprise, surprise...hoping maybe no one would notice that the serial numbers were identical, but I had a hard time "cutting through the red tape"...but be assured that nobody in there right mind is going to put a guitar like this up in a dirt cheap start, no reserve auction).

The video demos were done with the guitar plugged straight into a Fender Super Sonic amp. There are no effects (besides the built in tube gain/distortion...not even Reverb). Any tonal changes are from the guitar controls, playing dynamics, and/or me blocking the speakers by standing in front of the camera (and the built in mic). I also used an Avatar 2x12 extension cab and for what it's worth, all 3 speakers are 12" Hellatone 30's.

This is a "Buy It Now" listing, so if you see it and are interested, hit the link to avoid future disappointment and/or regret. Check my feedback as it speaks volumes! Thanks for looking and if you can afford it, don't miss out on this highly collectible, historically significant 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar. Payment by either eCheck through PayPal or bank to bank wire transfer...no credit cards accepted on this item without prior approval.

The Free Shipping offer is via UPS ground service and is for the Continental US only. Hand delivery is a possibility. Faster services available at an additional charge as is personal delivery depending on where in the USA
you live. This guitar is only being offered to the Continental US.

I accept credit cards and eChecks (through PayPal). For International sales, the buyer is responsible for any taxes, duties, brokerage fees, or any other charges that your country might impose in Customs. By law I must collect (and turn in) sales tax for all Florida sales. Florida sales tax ranges between 6% to 7.5% depending on the County you live in. The default is set to 7.5% on all eBay sales if you're a Florida resident. I try to only collect what is due for the County I ship to. If for some reason you overpay, please contact me so I can adjust or refund the tax rate accordingly. Local pickup is an option and would have no shipping charges but would be subject to 7% local Pasco County sales tax.

Items will generally ship within 3 business days after the payment has cleared...usually quicker. I will only ship to a PayPal verified address if you are paying through PayPal. I usually use UPS ground service for large items and USPS for smaller items unless buyer requests and pays for an upgraded and faster service. Shipping prices are quoted for the Continental U.S. only. All other States and Territories (and for International sales) please contact me prior to bidding for a shipping quote. I have 12+ years experience in shipping guitars and take great pride in my shipping/packing/handling skills...I personally pack each item and go way above and beyond what the manufacturers do to initially ship them to the stores...check my feedback...I have never had a guitar get damaged during the shipping process. In the (rare) event of shipping damage, please contact myself or the shipper immediately to file a claim. I document (extensively) the condition of the instrument before packing it as well as the box itself with pictures and in some cases video. I will help to expedite the process, but cannot issue a refund until the status of the claim is resolved.

All items are sold "AS-IS" and no warranty is implied (even if the instrument comes with a blank warranty card). All sales are final. All items are as described...I take pride in this...check my feedback as it speaks volumes! I offer a 3 day inspection period/return policy unless noted (and the Return Policy is clearly stated in each listing) so you can put it in your hands but it is subject to a 15% (or more in some cases) re-stocking fee in the event of a return. I always document and photograph all items extensively prior to shipping. Items leave here in the condition described and no refund will be issued unless the item is returned in the same condition. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges (both ways) in the event of a return and if I included "free shipping" in the listing, you (the buyer) are still responsible for the the actual charges both ways which on average is $40 for electric guitars and $50 for basses or acoustics each way depending on where in the Country it is going and how expensive the item is as the more expensive it is, the more the shipping insurance costs.

I have played guitar for about 35 years now and take pride in choosing great guitars for both playing and collecting. I sold for over 15 years in the biggest and best stores in the nation. I go above and beyond in making happy customers. I'm very picky about what I play, and won't sell anything that I wouldn't use myself. I like to think of myself as a guitar buying/consultation service...especially for those people who don't have a large selection of guitars to choose from. I hand pick what I sell from a huge selection of guitars from many different sources. I do this full time. I pass on hundreds of guitars that don't meet my criteria. I always point out any flaws and underrate so you will never be disappointed. Check my feedback as it speaks volumes!
