I hate to part with this. It came to be in my possession through a death and has an extreme amount of sentimental value, but with times being the way they are it is necessary to place this beautiful guitar up for auction. Here is what I know and all that I know. The serial number on the back is 00119273. I contacted Gibson for a manufacture date and was told this Les Paul was manufactured in 1976. I also contacted several local "experts" and have gotten dates anywhere from 1970 to 1977, so I don't know who is correct, but you have the number available. The overall condition is way above good but a little less than excellent. There is a plastic switch cover missing on the front treble switch. The paint scheme is sunburst cherry and has a fabulous finish as you can see by the pictures. The case is in fair condition overall with some of the latches inoperable. I believe the Gibson company refers to all the gold finishes as gold plated, but I am not 100% sure of that. Those of you that are interested in this guitar and have a high technical knowledge will know what you are looking at. Those of you that are looking for a great buy on an excellent sounding nostalgic guitar will appreciate this one and those of you that have always wanted a Les Paul, now is your opportunity to own one.

There is absolutely no reserve, but I feel if you know the true value of this Gibson you can manage to start the bidding at $200.00 as I do know there is a much higher value for this guitar. I have this guitar up for local sale also, but will give highest priority to Ebay as long as bidding stays within a reasonable value.
