1987 Les Paul Custom in beautiful alpine white!!!! This has been one of my favorite Les Pauls to own, and in all honesty I'm going to really regret letting this jewel go but financial matters leave me no choice. I've played this guitar for 10+ years and have put hundreds of thousands of hours on it. She has seen many, many smoke filled biker bars and has inhaled more cigarette smoke than any Les Paul I know!!! If your looking for an original 1987 white custom in museum condition this is NOT it!!! Although if looking for a monster playing, feeling, responsive, and powerful 11 pound demon that can't wait to slam the front end out of a vintage Marshall look no further...U found it!! The instrument has had a bone nut installed, a pro refret two years ago, new rs guitars vintage electronics kit installed, and a set of Fralin pickups ('58 paf clones) that sound incredible installed. Some of the paint has come off the back of the neck, there is a couple paint chips taken out where the new bone nut lies and the original was taken out, the guitar picks up everything from the pink lining of the case to the black in my work shirts it all has soaked in. So...she is mostly white with some pink and black tint to her. Although she has nicks, dings, chips, and life taken out of her there are NO cracks. This guitar is 100% structural sound and plays like a dream with extremely LOW action!! I do still have the two original pickups, although I do not have the original pots...those are long gone. Guitar will be pro boxed, packaged, and shipped ups. It will come in the brown Gibson case with pink liner. This is one hell of a guitar that will be deeply missed....I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I had to use the camera on my phone and it doesn't have the best resolution.
