This auction is for a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom, 2 pickup, serial #71088061. It is in excellent used condition. It has had some work done to it; the back of the guitar had some scratches. These were repaired and the back was oversprayed with lacquer. A 'coil tap' has been installed at some point for the rear pickup and a mini toggle switch is present to control this feature; other than that, the electronics are original. The pickguard and pickguard bracket are new replacements. The tuners are original. A new gold pickup cover is over the rear pickup. The stop tailpiece and tunematic bridge are new replacements, as are the gold strap buttons. There is some playwear on both sides of the neck. The guitar includes a hardshell case. It plays great, sounds great and looks great! The neck is nice and straight with no 'issues' & nice low action as typical of a Les Paul. A great price for a nice vintage Les Paul Custom!
