Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous 2006 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1960 VOS (Vintage Original Spec). It is a 1960 Les Paul Reissue from the Gibson "Art-Historic" Division. All factory original with no alterations.
This Les Paul is in FANTASTIC, MINT cosmetic condition (see pics) as the original owner who bought this as a collector’s put away so it has been played very little. It is made to look slightly aged from the factory like the 60's Les Paul of past. No breaks, cracks or repairs. No fret wear. The neck is straight. Sweet action
This is it! This one is the BEST sounding Les Paul I have ever heard! These long neck tenon guitars just ring out and sustain forever. Nice bite but can smooth out just a touch of the volume and tone controls... Something very magical to it. Bump the gain up and roll the guitar volume down a bit and you hit that harmonically rich sound on the edge of breaking based on the force of your strumming. Super responsive.
