Up for bid is a gibson historic custom shop 1959 les paul std reissue , made in 2000. the top is very 3D, if you stare at it for a few minutes it looks like mountain ridges. a top like this is not very common, and is difficult to photograph to offer the full effect. some minor dings, no breaks, cracks or structural issues. original pickups replaced before i bought it, i do not know who makes them. the neck pickup can be very clear if you want and the bridge pickup is more of a rock type sound. it rings well acoustically and plays well. would make a good candidate for a gary moore/greeny clone.
weight is 9.2 lbs, but does not feel heavy. neck profile is typical 59 - ish.
