This is a 1988 Gibson Les Paul Custom that has been professionally refinished and set up just like a Gibson Custom Shop Zakk Wylde model. Get this one for thousands less! This was an artists guitar, so it is stamped "not for resale" on the back the headstock above the serial number. It is loaded with EMG ZW model pickups. It even has the O rings for hooking a strap to, just like on Zakk Wylde's guitar. It also comes with a strap fashioned just like Zakk uses.
It has a some finish wear and a few character marks. It also has suffered the infamous Gibson headstock break. It's a solid repair and is very solid. (most luthiers comment that the headstock joint is actually stronger after a repair - the gibson angle / joint is notoriously weak)
Original knobs, pickguard and trussrod cover are included. Comes with Gibson brown case.
This is a really fun guitar that I bought on a whim. I decided that I'm not really an active pickup guy and it would be a shame to mod this guitar. It should go to someone that wants a legit Zakk model. Get it here for a great price!
