Neck repair does not effect playing or tuning in any way. Neck is medium/thin. Tuners were replaced 2 years ago with Kluson tuners (the expensive ones). Guitar was recently set up (intonation, truss rod adjustment, action) and this guitar plays beautifully. Stays in tune beautifully. Has a really nice solid tone to it. Frets have tons of life left on them. There are some minor scratches, a small chunk out of the headstock (pic) and some buckle rash, but basically this guitar is in good shape considering it is almost 40 years old. Don't spend $5000, you'll love this vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom.
