Gibson Les Paul Custom

Gibson Custom Shop Limited Run 1958 Les Paul Reissue, 1 Pickup, Figured Top, in gorgeous Gloss Sunrise Teaburst. 

 This very unique guitar is built to the same specs as Historic ’58 Reissues with a few minor changes including a lightly figured top, wraparound tailpiece, and short neck tenon. With one pickup and half the control knobs, more of the beautiful figured maple top is seen. Also, the lack of a neck pickup make these great strumming guitars with plenty of room around the strings. The single pickup ’58 tone and volume knobs give you plenty of control so you are not limited to one sound. Adjusting either in the slightest way can make a huge tonal difference, from searing distortion to a nice, gritty rhythm sound.

This guitar has an awesome top with great, subtle flames. There is also some interesting “swirling” patterns in the inlays.   It has only been played a few times, never on the road or gigged with,  and is in very good condition.  There are no scratches, gouges, or dings, only a few minor scuffs in the finish on guitar side  (see picture).  Includes Gibson Custom hard shell case, original packaging, tags, and Certificate of Authenticity.
