What is New Other? & Why Buy A Guitar From Me?

Other in this case means that, if you walked into just about any music store in the US and wanted to buy a new in-stock guitar, this is what you'd get. These are definitely NOT B-Stocks or Seconds. And no, I'm not an Authorized Dealer but I do stand behind what I sell. Not only do I offer a reasonable 7 day return policy, I'll correct any problems (not user or God created) that may arise within one year if you pay all shipping costs. The advantage I have, not being a dealer, is that neither Gibson nor Fender can dictate the price I set for these legally obtained great, American guitars. I've always thought that a company in this business should put a greater emphasis on  selling a lot of guitars rather than maintaining margins, not the other way around. It worked pretty well for Sam Walton.

These guitars are usually unobtainable to even try out without assistance from store personnel as they are beyond the reach of mere mortals, both physically and with regards to price. They therefore have only been tried by a few brave souls, and even then, for only a brief time (you know, "Please turn it down a bit, I'm trying to sell a Deluxe Guitar Strap over the phone." Just kidding guys). Hence, the name of my Exclusive line is the AmericanWallHangers Series * Affordable Mint US Guitars For US Guitarists. They are quite simply very little played mint American guitars.

So rather than have these great guitars just hang around, I thought I'd try to get them into the hands of those who actually want to play them, be they professional working musicians in Boston, NY, Nashville, Memphis, Branson, Chicago, Austin, or LA (all cities I've shipped to), or guys toiling away in small towns across the country playing in local cover and bar bands, or those who just want to enjoy them at home. This is an opportunity to get a great, mint, American made guitar at a great price from a reliable source, authorized or not. Just because we're all struggling in this country right now doesn't mean musicians have to go without great American instruments. While other countries, near and far, produce some quality instruments, there's just nothing like an American guitar. I hand select and setup  each guitar I sell and try not to pass on any clunkers, which, IMHO, is better than getting one in an unopened box.

Payment MUST be made with Paypal Immediately. This guitar will be setup before being shipped FREE UPS Ground to the Lower 48 ONLY.  I try, and usually succeed, in getting it shipped off within one or two business days of cleared payment. I will accept returns on this guitar within 7 days if you pay to ship it back, fully insured, and it arrives in the same condition it left. I will then refund 95% of item price only into your PayPal account. In addition, I will allow you to take 5% off your next  Buy It Now purchase from me. If for any reason after making payment you decide you no longer want the item, I will relist the item and issue a 100% Refund when sold.

By 1957, Gibson's evolving Les Paul model guitar had already undergone several key modifications that would remain as the foundation of the iconic version known around the world today as the Les Paul Standard. But while the addition of the new Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece one year earlier had greatly improved the overall functionality of the Les Paul, nothing would compare with the addition of Gibson’s pioneering humbucking pickup in 1957.
