Gibson Les Paul Custom

Here is a chance to own a Celebrity owned and used Les Paul. It belong to Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth. This guitar was used during the 2004 Glorious Burden tour. The guitar is in great condition, especially considering it has been all over the world! It is a 2003 Gibson Les Paul. It is a Limited Edition that was available that year. The guitar featured a Ebony Fret board without fret board markers. 
The color is Ebony with a Metallic Red colored top. There is one small paint chip on the edge (pictured) and some typical minor wear on the back side of the guitar. Amazingly there doesn't seem to have any visible fret wear, nor do I see any noticeable scratches or dings on the face of the guitar. 
The customized flag on the guitar is actually decal work; which is difficult to capture in the images, and appears to have been done professionally. The top of the guitar is autographed by Jon Schaffer and is clearly visible. The guitar also has Sperzel tuners that were installed by, or for Jon. It appears to be otherwise stock. The guitar has a clear cavity cover that was previously on the guitar. I am not certain if it was something Jon Schaffer had done to it, but now it has a OEM cover. Both convey with the guitar. It's previous owner also replaced the bridge with a Gibson OEM bridge, because he said "the original was too grungy", BUT the original (also OEM) bridge is in the case and conveys.
The case is not the typical case that comes with a Studio. It is a 6 latch case with 4 ball bottom end and 3 ball back that would come with Gibson's higher end Les Pauls; such as the Supreme. The case and all latches function perfectly. There are several nicks and snags in the tolex. As the pictures show the case was used as the main shipping container during a overseas tour.
I do have a email thread that was forwarded to me from the last owner in which he received from Jon Schaffer through the official web site email authenticating this guitar. Jon had autographed it and donated it to Wounded Warriors to be auctioned at the end of that tour.
One last thing; . . . WARNING: This is honestly a unbelievable playing guitar. It was obviously tweaked by someone who REALLY knows how to get the voodoo out of guitar!!! NOT your typical $35 Guitar Center set up AT ALL!!! I recommend the winner of this auction fit their self with a pair of Depends before playing and plugging it in. You may very well soil your britches.
