Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Collectors Choice #1. Green/Moore/Franks VOS.
You are bidding on a Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Collectors Choice #1 guitar. This guitar is otherwise known as the Gary Moore/Melvyn Franks 1959 Les Paul Standard. This is the VOS version, not the aged version.
The guitar is in dead mint condition and comes with the OHSC, Certificate of Authenticity and all of the case candy. There are no scratches, dents dings or any other damage. I have the original Gibson shipping carton.
This guitar was the part of the first run of Gibson's Collectors Choice series. It is based upon the 1959 Les Paul Standard formerly owned by Peter Green and then Gary Moore. It has a highly figured top and a faded “unburst” finish, with the wiring and orientation of the neck pickup reversed to recreate the unique “out of phase” middle position tone. It has a low serial number (available on request). I have included many photographs that capture the appearance of the guitar from different anges. More high resiltion photographs are available on request.
The auction includes costs for basic ground shipping within the US. I am happy to ship by expedited service at cost if the buyer wishes provided this is discussed in advance.
