This auction is for a 2 year old Gibson Les Paul Custom Goldtop 1956 Reissue with P90 pickups. It is in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures, with several small, not deep belt buckle dents on the back, shown in the pictures. Otherwise this beauty is in perfect condition. I bought it brand new in Guitar Center, its always been in my house, never gigged, never dropped, always well taken care of. The neck is in perfect shape. The frets have absolutely no wear. Nothing was changed or modified on it. Original price paid was $3,600. It sounds amazing, P90 single coil pickups produce very warm sound. Unfortunately due to my financial situation I am forced to sell it. It comes with the original Gibson Custom case, authenticity certificate and everything else that came with it the day I bought it. should feel and sound. Ted McCarty's Tune-O-Matic bridge with the
designateion ABR-1 was added to the Les Paul in 1956. That, together
with individual saddles and thumbwheels to adjust the bridge height,
represented a quantum leap forward in intonation, tone, and sustain.
This beautifully crafted reissue is a letter-perfect re-creation of that
landmark model.
